Why is all the sudden the volume "greyed out"?

Why is all the sudden the volume "greyed out" and why is there a blue line in the middle of my track? Never seen this before and don't know how to get rid of it. Everything works as normal, though.

EDIT: Just detected, everything does NOT work as normal - I can't change the volume! :confused:
