I'm experiencing an issue with a few patches on my ER.
Basically, I'm calling up a preset (A1-Fat Cat), and after a few minutes the ER will randomly turn off ("Bypass") the "Chorus/Vib" effect under the "Mod" button. If I stare at the ER display, I see the little box that says "C1 Chor/Vib BYPASS". The effect turns off, and the light on the MOD button turns off. However, on my Midimate, the light/button for that effect stays lit.
On another preset (A3), the same thing happens EXCEPT that it randomly turns off the "DIST".
Does anyone know if this is a known bug? Just seems to have happened within the past month (and only on a couple of random patches....hhmmmm).
I'm not exactly sure what may have triggered it. My main concern is that during gigs, I'm just looking at the status lights on the Midimate. If the ER is randomly turning off various effects, I can't be assured that it's actually doing what I think it's doing.
I'm considering saving my presets, and resetting the ER to its factory settings to see if that helps (or maybe just saving/reloading these two presets to see if it helps). If I do a factory reset, will it take it all the way back to the original firmware, or does it keep the latest firmware version?
