I have a number of dialog record sessions in LA, NY, and in the UK coming up throughout the next 6 months. We will mostly have two actors at a time. I am interested in logging the sessions with the audio and the timecode from our studio in Oregon. We have 200mb up/down internet and most of the studios we plan on using do provide Source-Connect as an option for us.
Before I spend the money on this can anyone with Source-Connect experience give me an idea of how well it works? Is it reliable? Easy to setup? We don't need to record the audio on the receiving end, just listen so we can log it. That would be 3 channels of audio plus time code (there's an extra channel of audio so we can hear the director in the control room).
